Quality Moments With Alford & Hoff
Today, I'm taking a moment to talk about something real. Or rather, someone real. My Husband, Jamy. You've probably seen flashes of him, here and there throughout my social media accounts. But I don't know if I've ever taken much time to really brag on him and all of the qualities that make him so great. Partly, because it would embarrass him and partly because I don't normally like to get too sappy.
But today, everything changes... Bring on the warm fuzzies, people...
The Beginning
When Jamy and I started our family we were actually deep within the throws of our partying, 20 - something stage. The last thing on our mind at that point was anything requiring major responsibility. Cut to the day we discovered our son Hudson was a reality. Emotionally, I was not ready. Mentally, I was not ready. Financially.... we were nowhere near ready.
But, I swear to you, I can remember the exact moment that I witnessed Jamy grow up. I sat there in our home, unsure and frightened of the future, looking to him for support. And something clicked in his mind, (as he re-tells it) and he calmly stated that "everything would be ok." And it was. Largely due to him.
Growth
Quality MomentsBelow, I posted a little snippet of him playing with the kids. You can see the pure joy that is on their faces when they are around him. And that carries through day and night.
