A Busy Week and a New Year

It's been a very busy week for us. First off I want to say thank you to the people from out of town who reached out looking for ways to help my city and state recover from the flood. The beautiful side of social media really shined through these last few weeks. Those who were hit by the floods still have a long road of recovery ahead of them so continued prayers and support are so appreciated by all.
In an effort to get back to normalcy as quickly as possibles, the schools and businesses that were able to open really pushed through to get up and running as quickly as possible. That included our kids school / my new job! We have been busy, busy, busy. Hudson started Pre-K3, Holland started her "school" program, and I started my new career as professional baby snuggler. The most wonderful thing about it being that we're all learning, playing and working on the same hallway.
So far it's been a hectic but great week here. And I am really looking forward to a great year ahead.

ReplyDeleteI'm glad that y'all didn't get effected by the flood, but my heart goes out to everyone who did. It was tough helping friends who lost it all. Congrats on your job and that it is in the same place with your kiddos. That's awesome!!
